Jovante came to stay with our family for a couple nights to start the transition phase from his home now to our home. We LOVED having him visit and I especially loved watching the whole family fall in love with him...

HIP SURGERY
In March, I let Stevie skip school so that she could come with me to visit Jovante after his hip surgery. He had some hardware removed from a previous surgery. He was a trooper.

FEBRUARY BREAK
During February break, I took the kids down to meet Jovante. They fell in love at first sight.

HELLO JOVANTE
In late December of 2011 our family received a phone call from the state asking if we would be interested in adopting a medically fragile little boy. YES...of course our answer was yes. I knew Jovante through pictures, but it wasn't until January of 2012 that we finally met.
And what a sweet first encounter it was.
We love you Jo-Jo!
